Many houses built before 1980 have a lot of character and class. Unfortunately, they also have a lot of dirt and dust in their vents and ducts.
Classic houses are more difficult to clean because they contain side or wall vents, as opposed to the floor and ceiling vents of newer houses. Homeowners need to be aware that side vents can’t be cleaned thoroughly with a simple forward-cleaning brush. It’s important to get into the trunk line and create a negative airflow to suck out the particles in the air.
Unlike most companies, who simply force a brush down into vents to clean them, Mr. B’s will access the trunk line through the bottom of a classic house, in order to thoroughly clean out it’s arteries without redistributing any of the classic dust. If you are a classic homeowner and are experiencing dust problems, call us today.
I’ve been a small business owner for the past 22 years. During that time, I’ve had my share of success and made my share of mistakes. When budding entrepreneurs ask me for advice, I tell them to remember 2 things:
1. People respect a straight shooter. People like results, not surprises. If you tell people you can get the job done for X, do it. Not X+1 or X+tax, just X.
2. Your Name is Your Business. Your brand should be as trustworthy as you are. At Mr. B’s, I’m not anonymous and I’m not corporate. I’m accountable and I’ve been that way for 22 years.
All that to say this. You can have great success by in your business venture by simply having the integrity to do what you say will you do and stand by your word. If Mr. B’s Air Duct Cleaning can ever be of service to you, please call us.
Right now allergy problems seem to be at an all time high. We usually feel like are hands are tied and there is nothing more that we can do about it. Maybe there is.
Scott Morris with the Allergy Relief Store went into a home of 2000 square feet and counted the dust particles in each room.
That house measured 1.4 million airborne particles
The next day we cleaned the house. The day after the cleaning he measured the home again and it was less than 700,000 airborne particles, meaning we removed 53% of the dust from the consumer’s breathing atmosphere.
Especially if airborne particles are one of your big problems, cleaning the air ducts may be the “one more thing” you can do. Call us today, breathe easier tomorrow.
Dirty air ducts will not cause this virus. However, cleaning your air ducts will improve the quality of your indoor air. Thus, improving your breathing atmosphere. We know we can remove 53% of the dust from your indoor air. It’s kind of like washing your hands, the cleaner things are the less likely to spread the virus. Call us today, breathe easier tomorrow.
People often ask us about the equipment we use to clean air ducts. What kinds of brushes and vacuums make it possible for us to be so thorough? One of our favorite tools we use is the Hepa Vacuum.
The Hepa is like a sports car with a lot of power in that it is small enough to fit in your basement or attic, yet strong enough to clean 99.7% of microns out of your air. It creates a negative airflow of 2500 CFM (cubic feet/minute). That means that, unlike less-powerful equipment used by bargain-basement companies, the Hepa won’t allow dust pulled from your vents to get in your house. The only evidence that we have been there is the clean fresh air you are breathing.

Have you ever thought of your home as a wonderfully performing body? Me neither. But, if you ever did, the trunk line of your ventilation system would be comparable to the lungs of the human body. Trunk lines are generally located in one of three places in your home: the attic, the basement or the crawl space. These trunk lines push the air generated by your heating and cooling system through your home. This is why it is so important to keep the trunk lines clean. It ensures that the air in your home stays clean and fresh.
So, if you are wondering if your home has heathly lungs give Mr. B a call and let him check it out for you. Cleaning your trunk lines and air ducts is only necessary every 5-7 years if done properly.

At Mr. B’s Air Duct Cleaning, we frequently receive thank you notes and phone calls from customers who appreciate the job we do and the manner in which we do it. I’d like to take a moment to share one such story with you.
A recent customer, we’ll call him “John”, just called to thank us for convincing his wife to start sleeping in the bedroom again. You see, for the past two years she wasn’t been able to sleep in their second-story bedroom because air particles on that floor were causing her skin to break out. Luckily, a friend of John’s told him to call Mr. B’s. Two days after we cleaned John’s air ducts, his wife was back in the bedroom. Sleeping soundly.
If the air in your bedroom is keeping you from a good night’s sleep, give us a call at Mr. B’s and we’ll do our best to straighten it out for you.
