Hungry Hungry Hepa: Our Clean Air Machine

People often ask us about the equipment we use to clean air ducts.  What kinds of brushes and vacuums make it possible for us to be so thorough?  One of our favorite tools  we use is the Hepa Vacuum.

The Hepa is like a sports car with a lot of power in that it is small enough to fit in your basement or attic, yet strong enough to clean 99.7% of microns out of your air.  It creates a negative airflow of 2500 CFM (cubic feet/minute).  That means that, unlike less-powerful equipment used by bargain-basement companies, the Hepa won’t allow dust pulled from your vents to get in your house.  The only evidence that we have been there is the clean fresh air you are breathing.
